Gaétan Desroches is a prominent leader in the agrifood sector in Quebec. He has been involved with La Coop fédérée for over 30 years, contributing to the development of Quebec and Canadian agriculture and tirelessly promoting its producers.

Gaétan currently heads Quebec’s largest agricultural cooperative. He is a knowledgeable leader who is recognized and appreciated by his peers for his ability to make business decisions that enable La Coop fédérée achieve its growth objectives and consolidate its leadership.

Gaétan is a man of action with a hands-on approach. His experience as an operations manager and division, sales, and marketing director has given him a comprehensive, multidimensional understanding of the challenges facing the agrifood industry at the provincial, national, and international level. Gaétan contributes to the development of modern and sustainable agriculture through his strategic decisions, but remains convinced that collaboration between stakeholders is the true key to promoting the industry.

His talents as a manager, his ability to bring people together, and his achievements with La Coop fédérée make him a dedicated and recognized expert in the agrifood field.

Gaétan Desroches holds a degree in agronomy from Université Laval, an MBA from Université de Sherbrooke, and sits on the Board of Directors of La Coop fédérée.
